In March 2007 Jones River Landing sponsored its first Expo to Explore Clean Energy and followed this exiting exhibit with a seminar series every Thursday in July 07 Exploring Green Energy Solutions. This weekly symposium covered the latest in green energy solutions for your home or small business. Topics included a comprehensive look at photovoltaic solar electricity; electric and gas utility rebate programs, interpreting utility bills and sizing renewable green solutions; wind turbines, towers and regional zoning issues; testing feasibility for backyard wind turbines; the steps and costs for installing wind and solar systems; tax credits, grants, and net-metering opportunities; the logic of an incremental approach; and the Jones River Landing "100 Solar Roofs": Kingston Initiative.
